We’re thrilled to announce our return to the lovely Zanzibar island for a second Paradise Beach Edition in Tanzania. After a successful first 4-day experience, Soundscapes will be hosting its festival on the same location on the east coast of the island, on Paje Beach between July 8-12, 2022.
Founded in 2013 to bring together a vibrant community that seeks to uplift their human spirit through art and music.
Our vision is to re-create the Soundscapes experience on the island of Zanzibar, and bring four days and nights of blissful house music and techno to paradise.
Soundscapes Zanzi is a festival that combines the best electronic music with idyllic natural beauty, compelling creative production, rich island culture and a passionate family of fans from around the world.
Add the beaches and boats, villas, secret parties in the tropical nature – all wrapped in colorful African culture for a unique experience.
The first night will see fan favorites, Traumer and Andrey Pushkarev bring their unique musical styles to the sandy African beaches.
They will be joined by Noctuary and Soundscapes resident Hameed including regional hero and fellow Analog Room resident Omar Fayyad.
Also joining the line up from the Gulf region are Saudi artists and MDLBEAST usuals such as seasoned veteran Baloo, acclaimed duo Dish Dash and female up and coming act Dorar.
Lebanese-German born and Berlin-based DJ and producer Agha will also be joining the lineup.
Heading from the UAE with over a decade in the game with events like Groove On The Grass and Boogie Box is scene-pillar Maks.
Romanian globetrotting duo SIT, made up of Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia, which continue to strive to reach new heights with each party they perform at.
Their memorable set from the first edition of Soundscapes Zanzi is definitely one for the history books.
Another Romanian and Sunwaves regular to be added to this lineup’s edition is none other than fresh selector and key figure Dan Andrei.
To add to the curation in this edition, more music will come from new artists such as Cocoon Recordings heavy hitter and Bedrock Label owner Guy J, Giegling’s very own Leafar Legov, and Yoyaku and Joule Imprint Janeret.
Topping this list with British Moscow Records label owner Archie Hamilton, who’s also been a regular household artist in DC-10 Ibiza.
Completing the curation with artists who have been the driving force behind the rise of electronic music in the region, ensuring the musical journey each day of the festival: Gazi, Nezar, O Squared, Usif, cnote and All Day I Dream’s Bahraini artist Zone+.
This is no doubt an extensive list of talent all on one island ready to dance, party, and share some amazing music.
